Self-Made Spray Deo
With 3 Home Ingredients and an empty bottle!
As we are on the road to being ethical we thought we’d try a self-made deodorant! It’s a long road to go, but we have to start somewhere right!?
So this recipe is really easy, I’ve personally been using it for a few days now, I wanted to see if it actually is a good recipe or not! Conclusion: I like it! I think I’ll still have to play around a little with the essential oil to get a smell I really like!
Here’s what you need:
- Essential oils: tea tree oil, lavender and lemon grass. In our home we got a box similar to this one here; it’s very good to have in your home as you can use it for different things like your kids ear pain, in a diffuser etc…
- A spray bottle, I’ve used a recycled empty one but off course you can buy here for instance!
- Distilled water, this is the thing I thought I wouldn’t have but we use it to iron our clothes! I use this one: here.
- Apple Cider Vinegar! I used this one here.
As I currently live in germany my items are from here. Put 1/4 cup distilled water, 1/4 cup of apel cider vinegar in your spray bottle. Add 30 drops lemon grass, 15 drops of lavender and 5 tea tree oil drops. VOILA!
Shake well before every use and have a little towel at hand as it’s quite the liquid thing, it’s a great deo!
